Indian Night at Unit-D is like a secret dinner of sorts — you can expect an evening of spirited, communal dining while you enjoy delicious Indian food on a night we have always been closed – Tuesday – as not to confuse anyone walking up with hopes for wood-fired pizza.

Shalou, the owner of Unit-D, is Indian and has wished to share some of her favorite Indian dishes with the neighborhood for a long time, so why not do that on a Tuesday when the restaurant is normally closed. On Tuesday, April 2nd, a multi-course Indian dinner with more than 10 different dishes will be served to those who purchase advanced tickets here.

The meal always includes street foods, curries & sabjis (vegetables), and dessert, all inspired by family recipes from different regions of India. We will introduce some new dishes like tandoori chicken and bhindi masala, and will bring back some of the crowd favorites from previous dinners, like the goat rogan josh and the hugely popular Indian chicken wings (different from our Happy Hour wings). The meal will provide many options for vegetarians, carnivores and gluten-free folks. House-made Indian breads, rice, chutneys and achars will be served throughout. We make everything in-house for this unique dinner, even the yogurt and Indian breath mints (“mukhwas”).

On this page (below) you may purchase individual seats for the multi-course dinner or round up a group of 6 and reserve an entire communal table or the private booth. Dinner will be served family-style because we believe this is the best way to experience the food and culture. The per person price is $30.00 (includes service charge; beverages sold separately). Seating is limited.
